Adam and Jay Leno II
Ralph Garman’s First Car
We take a look at Adam’s Ferrari 1966 V12 GT330 2+2. This model was produced from 1964-1967. Performance from the 4L V12 Engine reaches the 300Hp mark, and yes we actually fire it up. Enjoy.
I have been lusting for a 2007 DTS Cadillac but after listening to your podcast I may be going for the XK8 Jag.
You guys get me laughing like the old submarine days. Love that brutal humor.
Great car love the 2+2 feature!!!
what the fuck does 2+2 mean again? How much did adam pay for this thing again? a sleeper hu, looks like a really nice car.
2 + 2 = 4
Just kidding, had to do it.
2+2 In this case means it has a back seat. Or 2 in the Front and 2 in the Back. Other models had no rear seats, but room enough for a picnic basket full of fine wine.
I noticed the Arizona landscaping in the background of your GT330 2+2 photo..did you buy this car at Barrett Jackson or is this just a stock photo? If that car spent most of its life in the dry desert it must have been good shape. No rust out here.
The “non-sports car” Ferrari’s are truly works of art. Your GT330 is really gorgeous. Thanks for pointing out the dishy wheels. They really do set of your GT and other’s too…..Do the old Ford GT’s have those too? Cobra’s did too, although I’m not necessarily crazy about the Cobra body.
Thank you for firing up the machines for us to hear the music.
Early GT40’s did have wire wheels as well as the street version (MKII), they don’t look that good on the GT40’s as the BRM’s. The Wires do look good on the older Lambo’s and Ferrari’s.
Sweet rides Adam! If you ever want me to detail the engine the RIGHT way get @ me.
Weez and Adam thanks again for the pod/car cast
the story of enzo ferrari
and turning some hot laps in his namesake
Fine taste there Ace man. I am a Porsche guy but recently bought a book about the 65-73 V12 Ferraris, they are very special, just like the 911s of the same period. I like the early 70s styling of the 365 GT4/2+2 which is just amazing value for money for an F-car.
What would be great for the carcast would be to release it as an Apple AAC enhanced podcast with some pictures so we could see the cars as they are being discussed. For a euro I have a pretty good knowledge of US cars but visualizing a Plymouth Sundance even is beyond me!
Love the show.
The Weez is working on the image integration in to the CarCast, but just tight for time right now. We definitly want to get it going as it helps with the story if you not listening via the web.
The Ferrari cars of that era are really works of art, glad Ace picked one up as it is really one of his cars that I think is a sleeper.
How much tork on the 66 there Adam??
