Think you could put the jack stands directly under the feet of the air jacks. Seems like the bottom of the air jacks won’t know if they are resting on the ground or on top of a jack stand.

Another car I’ll never own. Excuse me while I go drink some Drano.

Why does BabyDoll let Cousin Sal come to dinner?
I suppose he makes hundreds of thousands of dollars per year from Jimmy.

Love the partial cloth seats. Perfect for sweat absorption.

Found a great write-up on Chuck Wade’s vintage race Corolla, http://www.speedhunters.com/2012/05/car-feature-chuck-wades-te27-corolla/

    Awesome show as always.

The rule of thumb I’ve always heard is to either change AT often or not at all. Every mechanic I’ve ever spoken to says if the car has really old AT fluid, but the car is shifting fine, leave it alone. Introducing fresh fluid abruptly will often do more damage to the dirty/worn transmission than leaving it alone, as the acidity of the new fluid may burn things up, just as the person experienced. One can gradually change the fluid however, a quart or two at a time.
